Biography
Dr. Fiorella Guadagni completed her Degree in Medicine and Surgery (1983) and in Medical Biotechnology (2009) - Specialist in Oncology (1987) and in Clinical Pathology (1996). From 1985 to 1990 he worked at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, Bethesda, USA at the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Biology. From 1991 to 2005 he lent his activities at the National Cancer Institute Regina Elena, first as a researcher and then as director of the Clinical Pathology UOC. Director of the Dep. Advanced Biotechnology and Bioimaging, IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana, Rome from 2005 to 2013. He is currently scientific coordinator of BioBIM and BioDAT SR Research Laboratory, IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana, Rome. Has had and has a night of teaching positions at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Sapienza University of Rome, adjunct professor of the San Raffaele University Telematics, Rome and University of Palermo. The Dott. Ssa Guadagni was / is responsible for OU in a number of funded projects by Italian Institutions (AIRC, CNR, PFACRO, PF Ministry of Health from 1998 to 2004, MERIT-OP ERDF and PON) and foreign (EC "Marie Curie host Fellowships, Project "Italy-USA", European bilateral agreements). Dr. Guadagni was also Coordinator of PF Ministry of Health in 1998, 2001 and 2007. His main scientific interest turned to the identification of new diagnostic / therapeutic strategies for some chronic degenerative diseases has led to the publication of 189 full papers with a total impact factor of 765 and an H-index of 30.
