Debra Aub Webster has over 20 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Research and the Regulatory Environment. She started her regulatory career with the US FDA as Reviewing Toxicologist/Pharmacologist. As a Principal Scientist in Regulatory Affairs and Product Development with Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences, she is the Project Lead for biologic and regenerative medicine product development programs. In this capacity, she provides guidance on clinical, nonclinical, and regulatory aspects of strategic product development, author regulatory documents, and acts as the regulatory representative for sponsors in interactions with FDA.

He has been awarded many honors, including the Hopkins Medal of New York for " contributions to science" in North America, the Science and Technology Medal (2004) from the National Eisteddfod of Wales (for eminent contributions to scientific literature in Welsh) and has been elected an Honorary Member for Life of the Society of Fiber Science and Technology, Japan, the Latin American Association of Tissue Banking and the Asia Pacific Association of Surgical Tissue Banking and the European Association of Tissue Banking.

Igor Katkoc is a trained biophysicist with 30+ experience in cryobiology and cryogenic engineering. The last 5 years the reserach has been focused on the fundamental aspects of kinetic vitrification (K-VF) as welll on designing the practical system for K-VF KrioBlastâ„¢ (in cooperation with V.F. Bolyukh from Ukraine). Chief Scientific Officer of CELLTRONIX (San Diego, CA, USA). Guillaume Saint-Pierre is a self-motivated R&D Program and project management professional and a material science group leader at a Madrid based private research center. He has significant years of experience, in related proficiencies and a background in roadmap development, product innovation and lifecycle leadership. Jill Davies graduated from Coventry University in 1987 with a degree in Applied Biology. After university she worked for cardiothoracic surgeons Mr Donald Ross & Sir Magdi Yacoub at the National Heart Hospital in London and that she opened the heart valve bank at the Oxford University Hospital in Oxford, England in 1990. The Oxford bank supplies cardiovascular tissue, corneas for transplant and research and brains & spinal cords for research. It is now also an Oxford Research Center Bio bank.She is also an executive member of the BATB, member of AATB, SLTB, Society for Cryobiology.

Karine Sargsyan, MD, PhD, pediatrician and psychologist, is a native Armenian. She joined the Medical University Graz, Austria (MUG) in 2005 within the scope of an international cooperation project after several years in Children’s Republican Hospital in Yerevan, Armenia were she led the Metabolism, Nutrition and Medical Dietetics department. She worked on and conducted several projects in health sector with the Ministry of Health and non-governmental organizations. Since coming to MUG, she has served on the Pediatric Department for a year and has written grant proposals collaboratively to fund research in hospital and central laboratory. She is currently the COO of Biobank Graz, and responsible for numerous scientific - research and re-training co-operative as well as developing projects. She is also the Scientific Director of multiregional Competence Project “Biomarkers for Personalized Medicine in Common Metabolic Disorders”, which consolidates more than 15 industrial and 5 academic partners under its roof. Together with her team, since 2008 she developed the Biobank Graz as an interdisciplinary institution. At both Armenia and Austria, she has served in many managerial positions. Her management skills have been recognized with an Academic Management Award for Biobank Graz at 2009.

She is a certified High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) and Clinical Consultant (CC) by American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB). She is currently a Senior Associate Consultant and Director of IVF and Fertility Testing Laboratories at the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Laboratory Medicine Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN.

Dr. Huang is a physician-scientist. Currently he is a professor with tenure in Human Genetics, Director, Program of Mitochondrial Medicine, Associate Director of the Molecular Diagnostic laboratory at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). Dr. Huang graduated from Fujian Medical University in 1983 and received his Ph.D. study at Mount Sinai Medical School in 1991. Dr. Huang completed his pediatrics residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 1996 and his clinical genetics and clinical molecular genetics fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 1999. Dr. Huang was a faculty member at the Children’s Hospital, Harvard from 1999-2001. In 2001, Dr. Huang moved to the University of California, Irvine as an independent investigator to study the molecular basis of genetic syndromes. Dr. Huang is interested in mitochondrial disorders. He has been actively engaged in many programs in China. Dr. Huang is an honorable professor of Peking Union Medical School, a member of the special committee for Yusheng Yuyou of People’s Republic of China, advisory board member to Chinese Ministry of Health for targeted therapy and a principal investigator for birth defect control program of Chinese Ministry of Health.

Dr. Dalip Sethi currently serves as Director of Clinical Research at Cesca Therapeutics Inc., a public company engaged in the research, development, and commercialization of cellular therapies and delivery systems for use in regenerative medicine. Dr. Sethi holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology, New Delhi, and a Masters in Organic Chemistry from Hansraj College, Delhi University, India, and conducted postdoctoral studies at Thomas Jefferson University, School of Medicine. Dr. Sethi is currently engaged in the development of point-of-care devices, methods and diagnostics for use in autologous cell therapy in the treatment of cardiovascular and orthopedic diseases.

In 2006 she obtained the United States Patent US 7,011,937 B2 for Method and solutions for cryopreserving oocytes. Raffaella Fabbri has her expertise in cryopreservation of human mature and immature oocytes; cryopreservation of embryos and blastocysts; cryopreservation of human ovarian tissue; in vitro maturation of ovarian follicles; cocultures of human granulosa cells and sperms, fertilization and embryonal development. She has been involved in many Scientific Activities which are well-documented by 335 articles published in Italian and Foreign Journals, participation at 134 meeting as speaker and 58 as auditor.

Elena Salvaterra is a jurist doctor (JD) and Ph.D in Law of Science (Bioethics). After a few years spent at academia (University of Milan), she collaborated with the Biological Resource Center of the Polyclinic University Hospital in Milan as social scientist. She co-founded with Dr. Paolo Rebulla, hematologist, the Laboratory of Bio-Law, dedicated to the study of ethical, regulatory, economic and social aspects associated with therapeutic and research human biobanks. Then, she worked at the research institute “E. Medea” where she conducted several studies as principal investigator on pediatric biobanks. Since 2010, Dr. Salvaterra collaborated with private national and international companies as regulatory support and marketing specialist. She is presently engaged as consultant for biobanks at Air Liquide Healthcare in Milan (Italy) and she is member of the Scientific Advisory Board of CloudLims. She is also collaborating with the University e-campus in Milan as scientific coordinator of the project “PixinBio”, intended to create multimedia education on biobanking and promoting citizen’s awareness on biobanks through an informative campaign on specimen donation for research. Her research areas cover biobanks ELSI and economics, neuroethics and neurolaw, robo-ethics, ethical and regulatory issues of medical assisted procreation and ethics of euthanasia. She is author of several publications on the aforementioned topics with a focus on biobanks. She recently edited the book “Regulating biobanks in humans. The use of adult and children biomaterials for clinical and research purposes”. She is member of the Science and Policy Committee of ISBER and the Programme Committee of ISBER-2016. Mericka P graduated at the Charles University in Prague, Medical School Hradec Králové in 1976. In 1979 he received specialization in Pathology and in 1989 in Tissue Banking at the Institute for Post-graduate Medical Education in Prague. In 2006, he completed his PhD in Medical Biology. He is member of the Society for Cryobiology and took part in organization of several international cryobiology meetings. He is the Hradec Králové and External Teacher at the Charles University in Prague. He is author or co-author of 80 papers dealing mostly with cryobiology and tissue banking.

Youhe Gao is a Professor in Beijing Normal University. He received his MD from Peking Union Medical College and his from PhD from University of Connecticut and Postdoctoral training from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. He was the Professor of Department of Pathophysiology, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/ Peking Union Medical College from 2001-2014. His research interests include bio marker discovery in urine, urine biobanking, protein interaction methods and related bioinformatics.
